Inspired by the Midsummer Night's Dream fine jewellery collection, Féerie captures the essence of the prestigious Van Cleef and Arpels jewellery house.

Fine Jewellery Trends Winter 09

The current European jewellery collections demonstrate astonishing creative brilliance, with large, statement pieces being the order of the day. A strong black and white theme is emerging, with high contrast and high impact combinations of brilliant cut black and white diamonds set in white gold. Pavé setting is also a strong trend, either in glittering carpets of diamonds or intricate and multicoloured floral and abstract creations. The coloured gemstone trend we have seen over the last couple of seasons continues to be strong across the collections, with rich, vibrant colours being especially desirable.
