Sculpture for the body - art jewellery by Victoria Edgar
A highly skilled gold and silversmith, Victoria Edgar designs and hand crafts her jewellery and sculpture from her 160 year old farm-based studio near Geelong in Victoria. The free flowing forms of her fertile imagination manifest themselves in dramatic handmade works that blur the lines between jewellery and art.
This exhibition comprises original and dramatic neckpieces, earrings, armbands and rings. All pieces are hand crafted in sterling silver, and some feature 18ct yellow gold and pearl detailing. A highlight is the astonishing Bodiware – an unusual and unique combination of jewellery and sculpture that can be displayed as art or worn on the body.
