Montegrappa dedicates Tributo ad Amedeo Modigliani to the genius who discomposed the principles of portraits: a Limited Edition collection that traces the features of his style. The neat line of the pen pays homage to the essentiality of his search for plasticity, the shaft and the cap are oval-shaped like the faces of his portraits, the clip is long and uneven like his noses, the cap ring has the characteristic irregular shape of the lips he painted.
Modigliani’s distinctive feature, the firm and vibrating brushstrokes that marked every painting of his, has been reproduced with the help of the precious resin these creations are made of. The colour is the same as in several of his works of art: deep blue, as Parisian nights are.
The Montegrappa firm was established 1912 on the bank of the River Brenta, in one of the most picturesque areas of the historic town of Bassano del Grappa in the prosperous north-eastern part of Italy.
